HIFIMAN Introduces HE1000 WiFi and Arya WiFi Headphones

HIFIMAN has announced two new wireless planar magnetic headphones: the HE1000 WiFi and Arya WiFi. Both models feature built-in WiFi connectivity designed to deliver full-resolution wireless audio without relying solely on Bluetooth.

The company says using WiFi helps overcome Bluetooth’s bandwidth limitations, allowing the headphones to support high-resolution lossless audio formats. Both models also include HIFIMAN’s in-house Hymalaya R-2R DAC, capable of handling PCM up to 768 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512.

Alongside WiFi streaming, the headphones also support Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C wired connections for additional playback options. Setup involves connecting a smartphone or tablet to the headphone’s dedicated WiFi network for wireless playback via a local network.

On the hardware side, both models feature HIFIMAN’s planar magnetic driver technology and Stealth Magnet design, which aims to reduce distortion and improve sound clarity. The HE1000 WiFi uses the company’s Nano Diaphragm, while the Arya WiFi incorporates the Super Nano Diaphragm. A built-in Class AB balanced amplifier in each earcup powers the drivers.

The HE1000 WiFi and Arya WiFi are now available through the official HIFIMAN webstore and authorized dealers.
