Sennheiser has officially announced the MOMENTUM 5 Wireless, the latest generation of its flagship wireless headphones. Building upon the highly successful MOMENTUM 4, the new model introduces a number of upgrades focused on sound quality, longevity, and everyday usability.

The MOMENTUM 5 Wireless retains Sennheiser’s 42mm dynamic driver platform, inspired by the company’s acclaimed HD 600 series headphones, while adding Hi-Res Audio certification and Snapdragon Sound support with aptX Lossless for CD-quality wireless playback on compatible devices. Sennheiser has also improved the adaptive noise cancellation system, now utilizing eight microphones to provide better isolation and clearer voice pickup during calls.
One of the headline features is the introduction of a user-replaceable battery, a rarity in the premium wireless headphone market. Battery life is rated at up to 57 hours on a single charge with ANC enabled, placing it among the longest-lasting flagship wireless headphones currently available. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.4 with future Bluetooth 6.0 readiness, Dolby Atmos support with head tracking, multipoint connectivity, and a redesigned carrying case that is smaller and easier to travel with.
The Sennheiser MOMENTUM 5 Wireless will be available in Black, White, and Denim colourways. Pricing is set at USD $399.99, with availability beginning in June 2026 through Sennheiser and authorized retailers.
