AirPods Max 2 Unveiled with H2 Chip, Better Noise Cancellation

Apple has officially announced the AirPods Max 2, introducing upgraded Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), improved audio performance, and a range of new intelligent features powered by the H2 chip.

The new model delivers up to 1.5x more effective ANC, alongside enhanced sound quality with a new high dynamic range amplifier and support for 24-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio via USB-C. Features like Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, and Live Translation are now available on AirPods Max for the first time.

Apple is also positioning the headphones for creators, with additions such as studio-quality audio recording and camera remote functionality.

AirPods Max 2 will be available in midnight, starlight, orange, purple, and blue, and is expected to launch in the Philippines soon, starting at ₱34,990. We previously reviewed the AirPods Max and found it to have some unique qualities and solid overall sound, so we’re looking forward to seeing how the second generation improves on it.
